Russia’s war against Ukraine: ITExpert’s position
On 24 February 2022, russia began a full-scale invasion on the territory of Ukraine. We denounce the war and deem all of russia’s actions as acts of terrorism. We express our unwavering support for the people of Ukraine, wherever they may be in the world.
ITExpert is a Ukrainian IT recruitment agency. Since 2015, we have been helping candidates from Ukraine and all over the world find better jobs, promoting brand of Ukraine among international clients, and building our team on the principles of mutual support and trust. We do not work with clients from russia or belarus.
After the full-scale invasion began, our team resumed operations as quickly as possible to ensure uninterrupted hiring for our clients. We have been showing with our actions, not just our words, that Ukrainians are resilient and are ready to work under any circumstances. This has helped us prove that Ukrainian IT professionals are ready to work on their own front and convey the importance of not stopping recruiting, as the best help is not only donations but also employing and cooperating with Ukrainians!
We took care of the safety of each and every of our team members, supported them, paid full salaries for specialists involved in the Territorial Defence Forces and voluntary work, provided targeted assistance, and did not lay off anyone because of the war. We have also implemented a flexible work schedule and a fully remote model. In addition, we have been paying special attention to mental health. For instance, we have conducted an internal webinar on emotional balance during the war. The main principles for us at this time are retaining and supporting our team, as well as ensuring stable operations.
We have been putting our effort into supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian developers, and IT companies. Some examples of our contribution:
- Donated 100 thousand hryvnias to DOU х “Come Back Alive” for purchasing a PD-2 complex (total amount of donations: 31 million UAH).
- Supported the Armed Forces of Ukraine and volunteers in various ways.
- Conducted free consultations and webinars for IT specialists actively looking for work during the war and provided an opportunity to post job openings for free in our Telegram channel.
These are only some of the examples of how we have been contributing, and we have no intention of stopping. We continue to work in Ukraine and with Ukrainians, as we believe that we will persevere. Together to victory!
